What will we learn?
Students will be actively engaged in learning about the political, economic, diplomatic, social, and cultural developments of the World through an anthropological view.
Content: Anthropology, Geography, cultural diversity, religions, etc.
Skills: Understand how various tools of historical study operate, work collaboratively and effectively on projects, become critical thinkers and active learners.

Grading:
• Learning Activities: You will have in-class activities/assignments during every class meeting, so attendance is important if you plan to keep up. You will have 2 to 4 homework assignments per week. This is worth 20% of your grade.
• Performance Activities: These include exams and quizzes. Exams will consist of short answer and essay questions. Quizzes are objective assessments (multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and matching). This is worth 80% of your grade.
Note: Because you will be allowed to use your interactive student notebook during exams, absence the class meeting before an exam does NOT excuse you from taking it.
